Sanskrit is said to be the soul of India. The reason for this is its vast literature that covers all areas of life. The vast literature produced from Vedic times to the present day worships the diversity of this field. If we want to know the value of life, types of literature, scriptures like Logic, Grammar, Vedanta, Smrutis, Puranas, Strotrakavya, etc., sanskrit is the only refuge. Sanskrit language is the mother of all Indian languages; pervading all languages in the world; computer device interfaces; this is a scientific language. Recognizing that its introduction is essential for our students, it has been continuously followed in the teaching and learning of Sanskrit since the beginning of college.

Vision of the goal (Vision)

Students should live a fundamental life by learning Sanskrit language ;  They should be useful to society ;  Sanskrit is taught here in the hope of improving their lives.

Administration (MIssion)

To achieve this, to create and enhance the attachment of the students to this language, various Sanskrit programs are organized at the departmental level along with the curriculum, in which the students take an enthusiastic and active part.  This year, a Gita recitation competition was held.  In the immediate future, the department plans to organize many programs like meetings with experts, their guidance, Sanskrit workshops, conversation camps etc. to encourage and nurture the study of Sanskrit.

To increase the curiosity of students about language, ‘Girvan Vinod Vilas’ is a Sanskrit association, in which students themselves organize activities under the guidance of their teachers.
 
Thus, the Sanskrit Department is thinking of other ways to improve the lives of the students.The department requests the cooperation of all in this work.
